This privacy policy is applicable to the Unfuse app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by NEUROSYNCLAB LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider").

Your Privacy is Our Core Principle.

We designed Unfuse with your privacy at its heart. All your personal and sensitive entries, such as your thoughts and mood data, are stored exclusively on your own device. We, the Service Provider, do not have access to this information. You can use our app without creating an account.

To ensure the app works correctly and to improve our service, we collect technical data that may include device identifiers (such as Firebase Installation ID). This data is linked to your device installation but never to the content of your thoughts or journal entries.

We also use Analytics services to collect aggregate usage data. These analytics gather information that can help us improve the app, such as amount of time spent on features across all users, how often users return to the app, and which parts of the app are most utilized.

We do NOT sell your personal data to anyone, including data brokers, insurance companies, and social media companies.

Information Collection and Use

Data Stored Locally

All your app data is stored only on your device, including your entries, preferences, and progress information. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

Technical Information Always Collected

We collect minimal technical information to maintain and improve the app. This data is pseudonymous (linked to your app instance via identifiers like Firebase Installation ID) and never linked to the content of your thoughts or entries:

Usage Analytics: App usage patterns collected through Google Analytics for Firebase to understand user engagement and improve features. We do not use this data for advertising purposes.
Crash Reports: Technical diagnostic information (including device model & crash logs) sent to Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry to fix bugs.

What We Share (Analytics Only)

We share only technical, aggregated data that cannot identify you personally as an individual (e.g., "50 % of users completed a session today"). This data is linked to app instance identifiers, not to your journal content.

Your Control: Data remains on your device until you delete it
App Deletion: All local data is deleted when you uninstall the app
Manual Deletion: You can delete specific data through app settings

Analytics Data

Aggregate usage data retained for up to 14 months (as per standard Google Analytics retention).

No Account Required

Important: You can use the full functionality of the app without ever creating an account or sending any personal data to our servers.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer your personal information internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

Standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities

Children's Privacy

The Application is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
